2) How do I open an online trading account?
For Existing Clients You may log on to Sjenie.com to register online with us. Upon receiving your online application, your Dealer Representative will contact you shortly to arrange an appointment at your convenience to sign on the Application Form for Online Trading and the Client Agreement. Once received the completed and approved documents, our staff will activate your online trading account. You will be notified via e-mail once your online trading account is activated.
For New Clients You are welcome to register online with us. However, you will need to open a trading and CDS account with SJ Securities. Upon receiving your online application, the selected Dealer Representative will contact you shortly to arrange an appointment at your convenience to sign on the necessary agreements/forms to open the trading and CDS account. Our Dealer Representative will need to witness the signing of the documents. On your appointment please bring along your NRIC for (Malaysians or PR) or Passport for (Foreigners), bank account information, latest salary slip, EA form or Form J.
Once received the completed and approved documents, our staff will activate your trading and CDS account and subsequently your online trading account. You will be notified via e-mail once your online trading account is activated.
3) Are the quotes realtime?
The stock prices are taken live from the Bursa Malaysia. However occasional delay may be experienced during transmission depending on the traffic of the Internet, your PC and modem speed.
4) Can I access SJenie.com from overseas?
Yes! You can access Sjenie.com from anywhere in the world. All you need is just an Internet access and a web-browser before you can have access to Sjenie.com. The preferred web-browser is Internet Explorer 8 or higher.
5) Will other clients have access to my online trading account information?
No. No one else will have access to your trading account information i.e.; User ID, Password and Trading PIN. Therefore, you must not disclose these informations to anyone and keep it confidential to yourself at all times.
6) Must I change my user ID and Password?
Yes, for your convenience and security. We recommend that you change your Password and Trading PIN after your first successful login and keep your Password and Trading PIN confidential at all times. It is advisable to change your Password periodically.
